Goodfare Halifax

My first experience with Goodfare was really positive. The breakfast sandwich is a great nosh and the espresso expertly brewed and high quality. I could tell by looking around that these folks know what they are doing. Add to that quick and friendly service and it’s a big win. It’s a real gem tucked away in the corner of a building complex but I hope more people discover them! Thanks Goodfare!

Wow! I had heard that this place was good, but I didn’t know how good it was until today. Jen makes the bread from scratch, the breakfast sandwich was delicious, the breakfast burrito also amazing (I tried my husband’s burrito), and the donuts so fresh and tasty. I would completely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good healthy breakfast or lunch.

Ok my wife just said "how do you know it's the best breakfast sandwich in the country"....admittedly I have limited knowledge of the rest of the country considering I moved here 3 years ago to be with said wife, I've hardly been out of the house but of the few times she allows me out it's Goodfare that's always top of the list. Sorry for digressing.
Going to Goodfare allows me to have an amazing coffee experience, Jen is a scientist when it comes to making coffee and it shows in the taste.
The breakfast sandwich has so many different tastes that melt together perfectly, and the bacon is just outstanding.
Finally, the doughnuts. Goodfare was recommended to us for the doughnuts and the do not disappoint, more fluffy and better flavour than any other in the city.

Absolutely adore this place! I had a macchiato and a donut and it was delicious. My friend had a hong kong milk tea and breakfast sandwich and she really enjoyed it. Highly recommend, and look forward to coming back!

Everyone should try their Breakfast Donut or breakfast sandwich with your choice of bagels or croissants! We like their Maple Spice Latte, Hong Kong Milk Tea and The Good Fog tea!
We bought with us Sheppard’s Pie, Lobster Mac and cheese, Meat Lasagna, Roasted Butternut Squash soup, Vegetable Chili, and White Chicken Chili back to Ontario
