From the admin to the cook everyone has made us feel welcome & comfortable. I’ve met a few parents and their Feedback has been very positive as well which reinforced what I was already feeling. Unfortunately, our son has a severe allergy so we had a lot of anxiety to find the right place and I have to say, we feel at peace leaving him at kids r kids.”

“Enrollment process - Office administrator was very supportive with the enrollment process, explained us everything and was quick (I also had all the required documents too). Teachers and classes - Not only did the two teachers make the kids welcome. They also supported us in understanding what could make the kids even more comfortable. They feel responsible for the kids. Best part they update us on every activity, and therefore as a parent I dont feel anxious. (I would like to mention names but I am not sure if its appropriate here). Children's perspective - enrolled my two boys last week and I must mention it was a huge change for them as we moved from overseas. The biggest change is culture and climate. But it looks like they are settling in quite well. Both look excited. They are been taken care of at school So far highly recommend school!!! (Will post a timely check in a few months)”

“I would highly recommend Kumon Halifax. I am trained as a school teacher . My daughter has made great strides in reading and math since she has started. I have also noticed it has given her great confidence, work ethic, and the ability to sit and focus on the task at hand. Her fine motor has improved as well, thanks to Zun Zun worksheets. I like the repetition for basic math—although this technique isn’t for everyone, it’s something that I find is reminiscent of my own childhood educational experience (memorizing those multiplication tables) but is not a technique used in today’s classroom, and in my opinion, it certainly doesn’t hurt in my daughter’s case. I do make sure she is understanding of the concept, but the exposure to repetition and practice she experiences at Kumon is really helpful. I also love how students only move onto the next level when they have fully mastered the work.... this is also different from classrooms today, because classroom teachers are really spread thin, they’re working very hard, but due to classroom conditions and teacher workload, often students are pushed onto the next unit or concept before they have fully mastered the previous one. The owner is fantastic and it’s very obvious that she cares about the progress of the students. Kumon, paired with support and awareness at home, as well as regular classroom curriculum and techniques is the key to success, for us. I am so happy with the progress my daughter has made since she started attending.”
