(August 10, 2018, 10:41 pm)A little spot to learn about the history of the Shubie Canal while you are visiting the park. Some of the explanations are a bit technical, but still work checking out.
The surrounding area has tables, bathrooms and a little taco stand. And, of course, the park.
(August 1, 2018, 11:50 pm)Nice centre, certainly now that there is a little concession stand. The trails are very nice and explain the history of the locks. The river is cool too and is a very nice little ride in your kayak or canoe and links to a lake Charles.
