Clam Harbour Beach Provincial Park

My favorite beach in NS! If you've never been I highly recommend visiting! Beautiful, long, sandy beach. There are public washrooms, changing rooms and outdoor showers so you can rinse off before leaving.

Love it for kids. Tide goes out and leaves warm pools, there is a little tidal river you can float down if you time it right. Nice sand. Some facilities. Beautiful

Beautiful beach with moderate surf. Goes out a long way making it easy to swim or play in the waves. Park amenities have declined over the years.

This beach is wide, quite deep when the tide is out and the sand is amazingly fine. Sand castle competition takes place here so that says everything about the sand Water is on the cooler side and the wind can be quite impacting on the temperature. Prepare for approx 5-10 degrees cooler than inland (this is the only reason why a 4 vs 5 star rating)

The beach is great. Life guards on watch during the weekend and actual toilets. There was no tap water or rinse stations working which was a bit frustrating with sandy kids but we came prepared with baby powder ????
