(April 6, 2019, 10:06 pm)It's pretty much impossible to visit Peggy's Cove and not enjoy the Sou'Wester gift shop and restaurant. The food is great, and the selection of merchandise in the gift shop is wonderful. The place is clean, staff friendly and helpful. It's a spot worthy of its reputation!
(March 15, 2019, 3:48 pm)Warm gingerbread with whipped cream and whiskey sauce. The BEST thing in THE WORLD. Please, never stop making this, it makes my day every time I go to Peggy's Cove.
(March 9, 2019, 12:27 am)Even though this is the off season, we still enjoyed this restaurant during our quick visit. I had a bowl of their chowder and loved it. I then proceeded to help my wife and son finish off their fish and chips and club house platters. We all enjoyed our meals and the service. I can imagine this place would be packed in the summer, but the food would likely be just as good. Thanks.

The Sou'Wester Restaurant and Gift Shop is located in Peggy's Cove right by Peggy's Point Lighthouse. My visit here was on October 26, 2017 as a part of our cruise excursion. We had to order what we wanted before we left Halifax. Our choices were Lobster or Chicken. Of course I went with lobster.
