Had the best Rum cake here. I would recommend tourists visit here whether you are from Nova Scotia or visiting from around the world. The candy/ice cream shop next door has a nice variety. I loved seeing some of my favorites from when I was a child.
Love walking the Halifax boardwalk. Always something going on, a place to sit, somewhere to stop and eat. Bishops landing is fairly close to the ferry terminal and has some cute stores and restaurants in it. Further down the boardwalk (the area next to pier 21) has recently had free dance classes - fun see my other reviews for more info/pics
Really cool stores and really beautiful aesthetic. Good luck finding any parking though. 100% reccomend walking if you can
Went here for my retirement dinner. I had the Beef Short Ribs. It was amazing. Very delicious. I had to slowdown and savor every bite. I paired it with a Nine Locks Dirty Blonde wheat beer that complemented it perfectly. And to finish it off, I had their Creme Brule which was the perfect finish to my meal. Our waitress was assume too. Perfect meal for a perfect evening.
Cosmopolitan venue featuring a number of bistros, restaurants, and cafes. We dined at A Mano, a wonderful Italian trattoria. Staff was friendly, courteous, and attentive. Moderately priced for a sit-down, full service restaurant. Indoor/outdoor (heated) seating available. Contemporary Italian menu featuring many well prepared delights. Parking tight, but not a major issue. You'll love it!
