(February 21, 2019, 12:30 am)Good spot to grab a drink and a bite to eat downtown. Upstairs there is a fireplace to keep warm and have a few drinks with friends great atmosphere.

(January 24, 2019, 8:44 pm)Some of the best fish & chips I've ever tasted; the fish tastes like it was caught an hour before, and the batter almost tastes like a pastry. Fantastic fries, too. And all for cheaper than most downtown pubs' fish & chips.
Awesome atmosphere and history here too, like stepping back in time.
(December 24, 2018, 2:34 pm)Food, ambiance and service were very good. Unfortunately the time between ordering and getting your food can be very long. In the order of 30 to 45 minutes. I would definitely go again, but if we were in a rush, would consider somewhere else, or get there really early. My wife loves the Cornish Pasties and I recommend the Ultimate Burger.
(October 11, 2018, 8:47 pm)Great food, great atmosphere and awesome service. Highly recommended by a local friend and we could see why. Fresh to order, high quality British pub. Super friendly staff. Beautiful old building, and careful on the stairs.
