Lighthouse Lane Cottages

Staying here was a restful and enjoyable experience. The cottage was cozy and well maintained and the view was incredible. The hosts are great and we look forward to staying here again.

We stayed in the Seahorse cottage for 5 nights in August of 2021. We were really pleased with the size, cleanliness and amenities of the cottage. Everything we needed was there. The owners were wonderful and the location is just close enough to Halifax so that we could visit our family quite easily. There are two bedrooms with comfortable beds that were perfect for the three of us.

Peggy's Cove is nearby and could probably be walked to, but it would be a fairly long walk. Also, the road is busy enough that walking there is probably not the best idea in terms of safety. There is also a small convenience store that takes maybe 5-10 minutes to walk to if you need some of the basics.

We spent some time walking the nearby trails and seeing the sights. Some members of the family even went for a dip in the water, although access was a bit challenging on slippery rocks and the water is cold!. We've just reserved for another week for next summer and we are really looking forward to it. We will be staying here every chance we get.

My husband and I stayed in the Oyster cottage last night and it was a truly incredible experience.

The cottage itself is so lovely and comfy/cozy we didn't want to leave. Everything you could want and need is provided - we made an incredible supper in the kitchen and on the bbq.

This cottage right on the water with a spectacular view of the sun setting directly across the water. Was like a dream.

Absolutely gorgeous little spot. The owners are very friendly and ready to answer any questions you have. Cottage is well equipped for a relaxing sea side retreat. The decor and the view is priceless! Was exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries and clear our heads during this covid 2020 time. We stayed in the bluefin. I recommend bringing binoculars. Hope to back soon

What an absolutely lovely getaway. Literally minutes from Peggy’s Cove!
The cottages are outstandingly stylish, clean, comfortable and filled with everything you need for a weekend away. Each cottage is decorated perfectly, you will love all the little details you’ll come across when exploring your cottage during your stay! We loved that even the little plates has hand painted seascapes on them!

The owners are amazing, communication was outstanding!
Highly recommended !
