“We stayed in the Seahorse cottage for 5 nights in August of 2021. We were really pleased with the size, cleanliness and amenities of the cottage. Everything we needed was there. The owners were wonderful and the location is just close enough to Halifax so that we could visit our family quite easily. There are two bedrooms with comfortable beds that were perfect for the three of us. Peggy's Cove is nearby and could probably be walked to, but it would be a fairly long walk. Also, the road is busy enough that walking there is probably not the best idea in terms of safety. There is also a small convenience store that takes maybe 5-10 minutes to walk to if you need some of the basics. We spent some time walking the nearby trails and seeing the sights. Some members of the family even went for a dip in the water, although access was a bit challenging on slippery rocks and the water is cold!. We've just reserved for another week for next summer and we are really looking forward to it. We will be staying here every chance we get.”
