The Slippery Oyster Licensed Restaurant

The man and I are newer to Nova Scotia, and when exploring the area of Sheet Harbour we came across this restaurant. I can't even begin to describe the feeling of hospitality we were given! It was like we had known them for years! We stop by anytime we are in the area and have been welcomed with open arms each time like it was our home. Thank you for the lovely experiences, we will forever be repeat customers! :)

Went to the SO on Valentines for dinner and it was really good! I had the hot chicken & my wife had the steak special. The valentines desert was exceptional as well!’

Are breakfast here on our first full day in Nova Scotia on vacation. Best pancakes I have ever had! I also had a great eggs Benedict. It was so good that we went back at the end of our vacation for dinner. Had the beef brisket burger with poutine. Was excellent. Highly recommend!

We stopped here for breakfast/ lunch on our way up to Sydney NS, and it was excellent! The menu is extensive without being too ‘basic’ with the classics. Pancakes are out of this world, smash burger is full of flavour and the potato bake is a great hardy breakfast. We would recommend this little spot to anyone! Great view out of the front windows too!
