He not only tells my children what to do on the page, but he also makes them think and understand why and how they are playing the music. He is an excellent teacher because he relates the piano topics to real life examples, to better understand the concept. My children will sometimes ask Michael to play them the piece that they are learning, so they can mimic and learn the piece better. You can tell that Michael is more than qualified because in a matter of seconds, he can play the piece to perfection for my children to hear. Michael has been able to teach them many tips and techniques to learn concepts faster and easier. You can tell that Michael has a true passion for both piano and teaching, and it has been a true pleasure and honour to have had him as our teacher these past few years.”
