The Doryman Pub and Grill

We went to see Colin Grant perform and it was a great show! Can't speak about the food since we only got drinks. Well priced drinks. It seems like a lot of locals go here and some tourists too.

Fantastic spot for Live Entertainment and great home cooked meals!
Live Entertainment from 6:30-9:00pm.
Showed up on Friday night and their food special was two pork chops, choice of Te'o veggies for $16.00 and Wings were $1.15 each.
Ended up ordereding 10 Hot & Saucy and 10 Maple Bacon which was a dry rub
Both flavors were excellent.
The boss ordered the Pork Cop special which was hearty and cooked perfection.
The entertainment was fantastic as well.
If your in the area, you must stop in for lunch or dinner. Keep in mind , the restaurants close nightly at 8:30 or 9 pm ..

We stopped in for a late lunch and to hear live music and had a fantastic time. The fiddler and piano player were terrific and the it was a great relaxed atmosphere. We had yummy bar food and great beer. (The lobster roll wasn't great, but the poutine and Irish nachos were very good.) It also has nice views of the water. Show up about 20 minutes before the music starts to get a good seat.

We would recommend. We made a planned stop along the Cabot Trail vacation. The Doryman doesn’t look like much from the outside but the parking lot was full. We saw live fiddle, piano and guitar music and ate lunch. I had the chowder and she had a Caesar salad. Both were delicious. The service from Matt was excellent. The music provided gives a great place for locals to spend time together and listen to music as well as an opportunity for tourists to experience some culture. We went back the same night to watch ‘Risin’ Tide’ okay classic rock covers. Awesome place to have fun, eat great food and meets people. We will return. Kitchen closes at 8pm don’t miss out on food.
