(April 15, 2018, 7:36 pm)Laurence's is a one of the few remaining nice and unique "country stores " on Cape Breton . it has a little bit of everything, from groceries to paint to hardware to health items .Often has local hand made knitted woollen items. Ice cream you can enjoy sitting on their picnic table as you watch the fishing boats coming in or leaving the harbour from Belle Cote beach wharf opposite Margaree Harbour , on your way to the beach . A great view of the coastline . Also next to what we call the "range lights" which are two very original style lighthouses.. Might be the last twin lighthouses in Eastern Canada.re maybe A good place as a rest stop to let the kids . burn off some energy too . It's just a few minutes from the Ceilidh Trail (#219) and the Cabot Trail.
