Strait Area Museum

The Strait Area Museum is small but mighty! Angie and team are very welcoming and share so much interesting information and anecdotes about the history of the Causeway and surrounding areas. Very neat historical items, records of the area, and a gift shop, ice cream barn and gazebo. A great place to spend some time.

It is a great educational exposure. I would say a mist see if you want to know about history, culture and background of the area, Nova Scotia and Scottish settlement.
Angie was very nice, friendly and spent a lot of time to explain everything.

Nice exhibits, knowledgeable staff. Great stop on the way to Cape Breton. Bit tough to navigate the roundabouts to get into the parking lot, but worth the effort.

Lots of interesting facts about Cape Breton. We stopped during Celtic Colours for the Ceilidh at the Causeway so we didn't get a chance to really see all it had to offer. Looked like it would be worth stopping to see everything based one what we did see and learn.
