“A good friend of ours was here in picked a bunch of absolutely ginormous blueberries. The wife and kids wanted to go picking blueberries so we took them the other day. I stayed in the car because I have allergies and I didn't want to be sneezing while picking blueberries during a pandemic. I didn't want to scare anybody. The wife and kids had an absolutely wonderful time picking blueberries and the flavour of the berries was much better than berries that we've picked in years past from blueberry Acres. They also had raspberries on the other side of the path so they picked a couple boxes of those as well. Overall it was a very good experience and much better than blueberry Acres or even sterlings in Greenwich”

“Contender for the most organized bookstore in NS. If you're used to inching through messy, grimy, disorganized bookstores with high prices and crankster owners, this store will be a breath of fresh air. Decent selection, reasonable prices, professional staff, and no books littering the floor in the aisles. They have a credit program for the local folk, and have a discount shelf if you're just looking for something to read on the bus or at the doctor's office. Another pro for this store is that they have consistent hours, and until recently were open till 9 every day. This is one bookstore that is actually run as a business. PS, don't be scared to go through the drawers at the back or the banana boxes between shelves. They contain overstock or books that won't fit on the shelves. I once asked for permission and the staff kindly said to go right ahead, that's what they're there for.”
