Route 12 Instrument Repair

Wow! Can't say enough about the service there! Matt is highly skilled, respects my guitars and is one of the most friendly people you'll ever meet! He knows his work and no one else will ever work on our guitars!!!! Trust him beyond 100%!

I needed to get a guitar I recently purchased set up ('93 Mexican Fender Strat), and had someone suggest I check out Route 12 Instrument Repair. I definitely made the right decision. Matt was incredibly friendly and certainly knows what he's doing. I sat and watched for the beginning of the setup (and snapped a few photos because I had my camera gear with me) but left the guitar with him when it was determined that the frets needed to be levelled to eliminate some string buzz. I picked up the guitar the next day and it was/is in beautiful shape. One thing I really appreciated was that Matt told me his work is guaranteed, and although I did test the guitar out for a few seconds in his shop, if I got it home and something wasn't quite right to let him know and he'd be happy to rectify any issues. Without a doubt, I'll be coming back for any other instrument repair needs I may have. His prices are very fair as well - I would go here before any chain music store any day. 10/10.
