“I needed to get a guitar I recently purchased set up ('93 Mexican Fender Strat), and had someone suggest I check out Route 12 Instrument Repair. I definitely made the right decision. Matt was incredibly friendly and certainly knows what he's doing. I sat and watched for the beginning of the setup (and snapped a few photos because I had my camera gear with me) but left the guitar with him when it was determined that the frets needed to be levelled to eliminate some string buzz. I picked up the guitar the next day and it was/is in beautiful shape. One thing I really appreciated was that Matt told me his work is guaranteed, and although I did test the guitar out for a few seconds in his shop, if I got it home and something wasn't quite right to let him know and he'd be happy to rectify any issues. Without a doubt, I'll be coming back for any other instrument repair needs I may have. His prices are very fair as well - I would go here before any chain music store any day. 10/10.”
