taken during the orchid show..
take a walk around the conservatory and the gardens or read a book in the beautifully architectured sitting area ?
What a great part of campus! Makes me wish we had something similar at my undergrad university. A lovely spot to relax and read.
A beautiful gardens to stroll through on campus. Nice for a break between exams or for any events being held!
Probably one of, if not the nicest (architecturally/aesthetically) regularly open public buildings in Wolfville to come visit. Lots of space to work and the gardens are beautiful year-round. It's not technically a "quiet" building but the main room is often treated like a library - expect a few glares if you answer a phone call and start talking loudly (I don't mind this - it's nice to have a quiet space like this). That being said, they sometimes have musicians come in to use the space so don't be surprised if there are the odd interruptions!
Not huge but a very interesting stop.
Highlights of the garden for me was the greenhouse that included the opportunity to observe active experiments happening in the university as well as the very educational and fascinating medicinal/edible garden in which both Indigenous and European plants are on growth along with good information.
If you like plants for more than just looking at, stop here.
