I met Laurie about a year ago after other failed attempts with permanent makeup by other people, this woman has changed my life. I’ve had my eyebrows microbladed in the past by someone else and it left them grey/blue after a couple months time.

Eyebrows is what first lead me to Laurie, now I have permanent upper and lower liner and my lips are done as well. Laurie has made my mornings so much easier. Hands down the sweetest woman ever and super duper talented. Thank you for enhancing my everyday look and thank you for being a friend!

Where does one begin? I have generalized anxiety on the best of days and having my brows and lashes done was totally outside my norm. I walked into Laurie's shop an anxious mess, and within minutes, felt like we had been friends all of my life.

Laurie has an incredible gift at making you feel welcome and cared for. Her studio is clean, warm, and professional. The vibes are comfortable and welcoming. This is a completely non-judgemental space! You feel safe and appreciated here.

Laurie knows well the importantance of small business integrity and does her absolute best to ensure you are comfortable both physically and emotionally during your time there. She explained every step of the procedures as she went along to ensure there were no surprises.

Her prices are fabulously reasonable (otherwise I couldn't have ever personally afforded to have this type of service). Going into a trade which involves a lot of outdoor field work in all types of weather, I wanted permenant make-up that a) wouldn't budge on a wet day and b) would fix the horrible excuse for natural brows I had to work with. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. ❤️

When you go see the most fabulous person, who is also an incredible artist, that makes your lashes look amazing, you have the best day ever! I had only one lash lift previously to the one I had done at The Symmetry Studio, and it had been an awful experience. I should also mention it was at a well known spa in our closest major city. When I went to see Laurie, it was completely different - she was caring, professional and made me feel like I was the most important client she had ever had! Laurie explained the process to me, what I could expect, and how to care for them once I left her studio. Now that's how it’s done at The Symmetry Studio! Laurie Paxton is the best of the best! Laurie is an absolute delight! It was my first experience having my lashes lifted and tinted.. and I LOVE it! Laurie's space is clean, welcoming, very comfortable and easy to access. She walked me through the whole process before we started which helped me to be able to just sit back, relax, enjoy great conversation while she did her thing! Will definitely be back again and again.
