Wellshire Bed And Breakfast

It was fantastic! Wish we were staying longer! The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. The house itself has a great layout. The yard is beautiful. And the breakfast was excellent. Robin the owner is also a great guy!

Robin runs a tight ship at the Wellshire. As the innkeeper of this B&B he has orchestrated meeting all things a guest might expect. We stayed there 7 days in late July 2018.

The breakfasts are well organized and very well executed. The detail of each breakfast option is well thought out. Seems simple to provide a breakfast and it can be. It can also be art. The lox, pancakes, fresh fruit, quality of the French press coffee, ...all excellent! He also provided special requests for our daughter.

We stayed in Room 2 at the end of the hallway, the three of us. This room has a spacious bathroom accessed from the hallway. The room has windows, air conditioning, hardwood floors. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was more than adequate for multiple users.

Robin has a supply of information regarding the town and the businesses and some general information for attractions around NS. He himself is also a good source for local and regional information. Lastly, he has a stock of movies on-hand for the occasional quiet evening or rainy day. In our week, we had one such time.

We've stayed at a small number of B&B's over the years and this is by far the best. Pictures of sights of the area to follow.

Our room was outstanding. We have experienced many B&Bs but this room was amazing! I took pictures to send home to friends. The breakfast was served with attention to detail and served with genuine care. We had a great visit with Robin a learned about area and things to see. The town is charming and a must see. Benson is a headliner!

One of the best B&B's we ever stayed at. The B&B has only two rooms, However, that allows for an even better intimacy with the owner (Robin) and any other guests. Also, there is a staircase to get to the rooms, so if one has knee issues it might be a problem. However, barring any of these problems, Robin thought of everything one might need. There is a mini fridge and coffee (tea) maker in the room. The beds are very comfortable and we loved the pillows. We had the room that included a good size bathroom with two sinks. It did not have a shower, but it had a bathtub and handheld shower (European style), which worked very well. The other room, had a great double shower and bathroom, but it was outside the room, a few steps away down the hallway. The house is brand new as everything was redone about 7 years ago after a fire. And the best part is the owner, Robin, who is a wonderful and gentle soul. He makes incredible gourmet breakfasts and is a wealth of information about the area, as well as other things. We enjoyed our two day stay at Lunenberg and having this B&B made it even better!

What a place. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed one night in April and me and my wife both wished we could have stayed for longer. The room was fantastic and so was the breakfast. The atmosphere was really relaxed just what you want when your on vacation. Ticked all the boxes.
