“I loved everything about this place. We went to Nordic spa in Chester and decided to stay overnight for more exploring. The best decision (even, with little driving from Chester). The host, Danielle, is very accommodating and just pleasure to chat with. It's clean and spacious. Very comfortable bed and sheets were so soft, i didn't want to get out of the bed. Room and bathroom were big. Really spacious dining and living room. And you can walk into the art gallery from it. Beautiful yard with chairs to sit outback. Breakfast, yum!!! I'll, definitely, be back.”

“What a wonderful stay and hospitality, cheers to Marc... our host. My husband and I stayed at this motel at the end of May and beginning of June and we would recommend to anyone visiting Bridgewater to experience this place. Forget about a hotel! This place has everything plus” to make your stay and sleep comfortable. We had an opportunity to try out 4 different rooms and each was a pleasure, each with different decor, and theme, each without compromising comfort. Every detail was thought through and executed well, like a wine glass for example, different thickness sleeping pillows, milk in a fridge, coffee, tea, candles, matches...list goes on and on ... everything done fresh, very clean and with the style. Yet another plus was the LaHave river that the motel borders on. You can enjoy a swim or a picnic. Again, thank you Marc and you better half .... we are looking forward to staying at your place again!”

“Beautiful historic home with great decor. We had a room where our private bathroom was down the hall and was no inconvenience at all. If that's not your thing there are also rooms with ensuites. Very comfortable bed and air conditioning. The breakfast was amazing with fresh baked muffins, fresh fruit cups and omelets. Fabulous hosts!!”

“It was great and amazing and extremely beautiful. It was so fun there with my family and also everyone there is so nice! ? found lots of great beach glass and cool rocks and the ocean is so fun. There was lots of room and very cute. Me and my sisters, my parents and my grandmother + our bunny all loved it. I love the area around all of the other places and kind of around Bridgewater so I would have loved any place but this one was just so perfect! Also the food was great. Thanks for being great. It was amazing to go to because my family actually had another cottage booked in New Brunswick but it sadly got canceled because of COVID but this was so much better! It was closer to our home and so fun and beautiful and everyone is so nice and we didn’t even have to leave Nova Scotia and it was still a great vacation. Wow we loved this place❤️ Everything was pretty clean because we brought some stuff so we could clean but it was so good we didn’t really have to do a lot besides wipe down a few things from germs but it’s great. Also it was a joy to bring our bunny on the beach ? but the only thing was one of the doors was blocked by the garbage can and we didn’t know if we were supposed to touch it so we left it alone also there was a snake in our cottage so that was fun but yeah it was still great! I love you guys and the cottage and everything! ❤️ (Also I think my grandmother is already booking for next year!) it felt very safe and amazing. Loved it so much and everything. Perfect beach.”

“We just spent 3 nights at Toba’s B&B and would highly recommend to anyone looking for accommodations in the area. Great location with waterfront views to enjoy and beautiful sunsets. We stayed in the King room and were very comfortable. Spacious room, comfortable bed, great view of the water, newly renovated bathroom. The breakfasts were delicious - especially the home made baking! Cathy and Kelly go above and beyond to make you feel at home - from the warm welcome when you arrive - to the little extras during your stay to ensure it is a pleasant one. They were also very helpful in providing recommendations of things to see and places to go in the area. Would definitely stay again when we next visit the east coast!”

“This is a beautiful place right on Mahone Bay. A two story house with multiple rooms to stay in and beautiful stained woodwork throughout the house. Clean and smells good at all times. The breakfast was always wonderful. As for the owners, wonderful people to talk too. Great sense of humor and full of kindness and a wealth of information. Wish I could have stayed longer.”
