Oh My Cod!

Wonderful. Wife got the fish taco and the whole fillet of fish in each taco was light and crispy. I got the clams and same thing, batter was crispy but light. 5yr old daughter got mac and cheese and it was soo cheesey I had no problem eating the left overs for her!

We sat on the patio and as the sun set the nice waiter even brought my wife and daughter a blanket to wrap up in. Great place, will return again.

The food was excellent, in particular the chowder. The service was the perfect level of attentiveness without being annoying.

Three of us went for a meal last Wednesday and all three ordered the fish and chips, opting for the haddock instead of the cod. We’ve eaten here often and have always enjoyed the food. This time, however, two of us found the fish really dry. I think the problem was that the fillets were quite thin and so were cooked a bit too long. The manager eventually appeared and said the words that every customer loves to hear: “Funny. No one’s ever complained before.” (Really? No one?) I wouldn’t have said anything anyway if the server hadn’t asked. The fresh cut fries and drinks were delicious and we were all enjoying each other’s company.
The manager did take something off the bill.
I must add that Kathie (?), our server, was absolutely top-notch.

The food is fantastic and the owners are charming. I would however like to see some beef on the menu.

Lovely food, fast service, all homemade. Very friendly staff!
