Great campground if you're on the lake sites. Spotless washrooms and showers. Great staff , very friendly. We were in the "field " , our view was a derelict 5 th wheel a " seasonal "with 2 dogs locked in on a very very hot day. We watched them try to scratch their way out of a window , then just sit and watch us for 3 hrs. We then spoke to the hostess who was very good and managed to get the owner up . He arrived and took one dog and left the other. Really really difficult to watch.
This was our second trip to this campground and just as good...if not better than the first. We were there after Labor day and soooooo relaxing with only a few other campers present. The sites are a decent size and clean. The view of the lake can be mesmerizing...unfortunately no fish were caught when we were out....but it is swimmable. And it's only 10 km o a beach. Totally enjoyable
I LOVE THIS PLACE! The views are spectacular and if you are up for it, do the trail there. It will take you to the lake. There are his and hers bathrooms and showers. Laundry facilities and a canteen on-site. Julie is amazing! She greeted us and made us feel so welcome. Granted we were there more in an off part of the season but there were a few seasonals still around but it is a peaceful. The lake has breathtaking views. Very reasonable rates. There is tent sites as well as camper and trailer spots. Something for everyone. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the grounds and how well they were maintained.
Very nice Campground. Clean washrooms. Service was great. Only issue is we had to trailer our SxS and quads out. Which I can understand thier rule.
What an absolutely lovely campground. I came here on the last weekend of camping in the fall and I had a wonderful time. What a surprise to find it so beautiful. I knew it would be, but it was stunning. The owner was lovely and helped me get everything I needed. Because it was fall, and cold, I needed an extra power converter so I could plug in my tent heater. She had one there that she was able to provide. The wood she sold me was dry and good. The only down side was that there was only one bundle left to buy when I got there, but I guess that’s what happens when you come late on the last weekend of camping. Unfortunately for me, my fire didn’t last long because of this, and the heater basically did nothing to heat the tent, so it was literally frosty in the morning with frost on my tent. However, since there weren’t many people in the park, I was allowed to choose my own site, so I chose one right at the edge of the lake, and what a delight. The photos speak for themselves. I told her I would definitely be back with my husband next year.
