The Peddlar

Very quaint shop and the owner was very friendly and helpful. We went looking for a very specific item that had been gifted to a family member and we were able to find another almost a year later.

They have the Prince of Wales blend and the Buckingham Palace blend, neither of which can be found in any of the popular chain tea shops in Toronto.

The number and quality of teas is impressive. I have visited the store twice in the past year. The first time, I found the staff member helpful in guiding me to several teas that my family would enjoy. Unfortunately, this past time, I found a different staff member there and her manner was cold and aloof. It was not a pleasant experience and I was anxious to leave the store. I picked a couple of teas but no where near what I had planned to buy. My friend, who was with me visiting the store for the first time, stated that she would not return. I will probably return but service is important to me and this has definitely dampened my enthusiasm.
