I bought a new construction home from Urbe in 2019, moved in November that year. I won’t share photos of the home here, but if you contact Urbe I would be happy to share through them.
I arrived in Waterloo Region with my family after being relocated by my employer. Had to leave behind an apartment we loved in Brooklyn, NY and we were looking for something beautiful to match it. Unfortunately, the real estate market in KW is/was a sellers market and there wasn’t much available that appealed to us.
So, we approached Urbe about a house they were still building. They were willing to work with us as we selected every interior details of the home, including a beautiful custom kitchen. They went above and beyond to help us reach our goals, they even suggested some fantastic details to take it to the next level.
Every new home, unless it’s a true cookie-cutter build, will have minor issues. What I look for from a builder is willingness to fix—to make it easy on the buyer as new home issues can be stressful. My experience with Urbe on this has been great, they even moved my 10ft kitchen island when I insisted it was shifted too far to one side.
8 months later, sitting in the home, I am very happy here and with the work that Urbe has done. Very happy we took a chance on a new builder last year.
