Visiting this location was very informative and interesting to find out about some historical facts.
What a great experience. You learn a lot about the history of the Six Nations people. I feel that if you live in Canada, you should visit at least once since this is a big part of our history.
There's always interesting events and artists. Went to see A Path or Gap Amongst the Trees. The exhibit was amazing! The artist and staff did an amazing job hosting. Looking forward to visiting again!
I went everyday and the staff were always nice and greeted me with a smile. Good exhibits to look at.
The Woodland Cultural Centre is more than a museum; it is an experience.
The history of native habitation in this part of southern Ontario is recounted in displays, artifacts and multimedia, and the story of the interaction between Six Nations and European settlers is told with accuracy and candour.
Anyone who comes to the Centre will learn about and be moved by this powerful story.
The Centre lies in the shadow of one of the last remaining Residential School buildings and across the road from H.M. Royal Chapel of the Mohawks.
A great testimonial to resilience, survival, truth and reconciliation.
