Erie Belle Restaurant - house of fish 'n chips

Very pleasant experience from the moment we arrived, very kind, honest about menu selection. Everything was as good they claimed. The kind of place you bring your Besties. Only gave it a 4 star because it was my first time, definitely coming back

We were back in Kincardine to meet old friends for dinner and a visit. The Belle had a management change since our last time here. Lots of outdoor space in the nice weather however I could not see a whole lot of change inside. We were seated in an alcove where we could enjoy conversation and a meal. The perch dinner was good and the other three in our party seemed to enjoy their food too. This spot has always had a loyal following in their 'English Pub Style' bar. You can see the harbour area, lighthouse, and Lake Huron from the front porch patio.

Fish and Chips here are to die for! We came on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch, and there was still a lineup, for a good reason! The service was great and the food arrived quickly after we were seated and we had ordered.
My party of three had all ordered fish and chips. I loved how you could choose the number of servings of fish you would like in your order, which came with two sides. (Not just chips!) Let's be honest, we don't necessarily always sit down and eat with people with the same appetite. The fish were fried to a crispy perfection, and came hot and fresh to the table with a fresh-cut lemon wedge. The only complaint I had were the fries that were slightly too greasy for my liking. Can't wait to come back again!

Whenever we head up to cottage country this is a "must" stop. Great fish and chips, chowder is yum! Service is excellent with personable wait staff. A line up to get in started after we arrived, but everyone was seated in good time. Love this place!
