We absolutely loved our stay at this place during the first week of September 2023. It was sparkling clean, well stocked with plates, glasses. utensils, towels etc.

Being adjacent to the national park land was a huge bonus allowing us to walk along the shoreline to the south without any person in sight! We’ve been renting places in Tobermory for 15 years and The Last Tern Lake House ranks up there as one of our favourites.

We’d definitely would like to return to this place!

“Our first trip to Tobermory was such an enjoyable one. The Last Tern—beautifully situated on the lakeshore next to an ancient forest—proved to be a private and peaceful setting during our springtime getaway. Surrounded by views of the lake and adjacent woods, the open concept of this waterfront home and its practical layout made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The spectacular sunsets and soothing sound of the waves provided the perfect atmosphere for a restful night after a day of hiking the woodland trails nearby. We look forward to returning in the summer months. Thank you”
