Wow!! What a great day on the river. My niece and her friend came to southampton and we told them they had to try kayaking. They had a blast. Jeanette was awesome. Very helpful and accommodating. We are so lucky to have them here . Top notch service! very prompt shuttle service, friendly, great equipment. Tomorrow we rent paddle boards. Thank you, Thorncrest Outfitters!!!

Thanks to our guide, Brody, we had an awesome canoeing/fishing trip at Aran Lake Conservation Area ! We caught a few big large-mouth bass and enjoyed the beautiful scenery! It was so convenient and easy: we met ⁰Brody at the boat launch in the Conservation Area and he looked after all the details!

At 70 yrs I decided to get into kayaking. I called Thorncrest Outfitters to see if they had what I was looking for in stock. They did and for a small deposit they would be willing to hold it for me until spring when I could pick it up.
When I finally did Janette checked to make sure I had it safely secured on my roof rack, gave me some useful info about the taxi services they provide and sent me happily on my way.
Very friendly and knowledgeable and lots of accessories for me to come back and browse.

Really great location for various hours of kayaking or canoeing down a river. It's a nice trip down the river and very quiet all in nature with a distant sound sometimes of the highway. You see many birds along the way! I always do kayaking since it's what I love best and these are pretty great kayaks even for beginners! The staff are really nice and lovely and they have safety protocols in place in terms of physical distancing right now. But our driver was very kind and very nice! Highly advised if you're interested in canoeing or kayaking!
