Fabulous local spot, a little pricey but also quality products. The bakery items are excellent and a few of the specialty food finds are great. Happened to stop in this summer (2023) and it was customer appreciation day and they were sampling sooo many things! It was a surprise when we arrived and because of the samples we now have a few new favourites we stop in for❤️
Great little country store to stop by on the way out of Wiarton, lots of produce selections and baked goods. There's definitely some sticker shock though, with many of the prices having gone up over the past year. I'm not sure if they're trying to attract a certain clientele or if it's a tourist tax, but I personally had a hard time justifying how much I paid for a couple of croissants and a small pie, even though I always try to support local. I hope they don't price themselves out of the market, considering they're only a few minutes out of town, and there are more affordable and equally local options there.
Best, freshly baked (still warm) cinnamon buns you will find...
and the cheese garlic buns so yummy. We bought a few preserve and the asparagus was my absolute favorite. Got to hit this place up before you go to grocery store if you're in the area vacationning, you will not regret
I stopped by a few days earlier and bought some delicious cheese buns to find out they served lunch. So stopped in again today for more cheese buns and a delicious roast beef sandwich which was piled high with toppings and then grilled on the panini press for only $9.99 just perfect!!
I really like the fresh baked bread and baking, fresh veggies, cheese, and meats. Nice selection of plants. Very friendly and very local. Ice cream too.
