“I’ve been going here for years. I absolutely adore this place. As a vegan, they have tons of options that are delicious and not overpriced. I’ve had the vegan pizza, apple stick, samosa, chocolate cookie, and sweet marie. I’ve been incredibly impressed at every visit. My non vegan parents love the butter tarts and danishes. The worker with the quick jokes and puns is always a delight. Last but not least, make sure you tip 😉”

“My daughter picked this spot for us to eat at Sauble beach. The menu was nicely laid out and the staff were extremely helpful in answering any questions before we placed our order. We ate around 5:30pm, the sun was starting to set and the weather was very comfortable to sit outside at one of the many picnic tables they had outside. It took roughly 20min to get our order and the food was very tasty. The portions were large enough that when you were finished, you felt that you were full. I had the taco bowl with sweet potato (hold the pickled onion) and my daughter and wife had the taco bowl with chicken ( hold the pickled onion as well). It was a great dinner to finish off our day trip to Sauble. We went back to the beach after and stayed for the gold orange sun set.”

“Overall, a somewhat disappointing experience at The Kitchen in Sauble Beach. We went for dinner during a weeknight and did not have reservations. We were seated at the pub style tables in the bar area, not the main dining room. No problem with that. Positives - the bartender was super friendly and upbeat and she made good drinks! Our waitress was friendly and took our order within a short time. Let me say all the food we ate was cooked properly, had great flavour and was delicious - the issue was that the main dishes came with either no sides or limited sides included and the dishes were quite expensive for what was offered. For example, Ron ordered the steak and all it came with were fries - no vegetables - for $30+ there should be more than just the fries. Even a pat of garlic butter on top of the steak would have been a nice touch. My penne pasta dish had no garlic bread or other addition. Appetizers ordered were the rice balls and crispy eggrolls. Excellent rice balls! But pricey; I think it was $18. In the end, for what is offered, we felt it was too pricey. It is great that the new owners have fixed up this space and are trying to make a go of this location; since they have restaurant experience it would be nice to see it succeed, but I think a few things need to be changed with menu offerings and prices.”

“As part of our stay at Red Bay Lodge, we also dined in during dinner. There were several tables of customers during a Friday evening and I've been told that locals come by just to enjoy a leisurely meal at the restaurant. I can tell why that's the case. Our servers were very friendly and got what we needed in a timely manner. Their Soon To Be Famous Fish & Chips (which should already be famous for the area by now) comes with two pieces of deep fried cod fish and healthy plateful of fries ($18.99). And for that evening that we were there, an extra buck got us some thirst-quenching beer (the real buck-a-beer). The Red Bay Big Bacon Cheeseburger was a little on the dry side (and reason I'm not giving a full 5/5), but came as advertised with a chunky 10 oz burger patty ($23.99). Their wings and fries ($15.00) was also delicious. It looks like from the limited reviews that the restaurant has undergone a big revamp to make changes and things have gotten a lot better. They've done an excellent job with a small menu to make it work! Oh, and a free huge breakfast is an added bonus if you make a reservation for accommodations at Red Bay Lodge so that's an extra reason to come for a stay and to try their food!”

“LAMBlicious is an awesome unique shop! The owners go over and above service, they have delivered our items for us, opened early and stayed open late! They are very informed and helpful with their products. We love the variety of options they have with their products and we love how they are always trying new products and how they support local businesses. We see there name everywhere in the community and we think it is great that they sponsor kids soccer and skating and are always willing to donate money and gift certificates! We find the shop easy to follow and everything is straight forward. We toured their farm and love how beautiful it is, their apple orchard is a great snack for the animals! Overall great people, great food, great variety and prices!”

“We stayed for 4 nights over thanksgiving weekend (my mom, myself and my toddler) There was no one in the office all weekend although the owner was available by phone. She was friendly when she drove by our site It is a very nice location close to the Bruce trail and just across the road is a small beach and beautiful view The only amenities available when we were there were the showers, laundry and outdoor seating area by the office. The showers were full of cobwebs and the floor was quite dirty, it clearly had not been cleaned in a long time. The automatic lights in the bathroom kept going out during my shower lol We had a full service site. The campground was quiet other than a tractor moving around some stuff that kept driving past our site”
