“Such a beautiful place to explore! Met the owner who was super nice and got to walk around their gorgeous gardens - the butterfly garden and sunflowers were beautiful! The store is full of lavender goodies, you'll want to go home with everything.”

“Last September when visiting this beach area we had seen this park at the start of its inception. Ground was being leveled and concrete pathways were being laid out. Today was a wonderful treat for the eyes and the legs. Upon seeing this project completed there is concrete pathways from the beach to the downtown with benches at various locations to rest and enjoy the view. There is a couple of boat ramps for launching which while we were there was being well used.”

“This is a true gem of a hiking trail. Well marked with most trails running along the clear waters of Catfish Creek or around large wetland ponds. Many new trees have been planted to supplement the great variety of old growth trees that make up the tall canopy. Lots of majestic Sycamore trees with their unique smooth white bark along with many varieties of Oak, Maple, Cherry, Sassafras and other Carolinian species. Many docks and bolders placed around the wetlands and Creek for viewing or fishing. Lots of birdhouses to encourage bird populations. Trails are wide and well groomed with predominantly sandy surfaces but can get a bit mucky after wet weather so hiking boots are recommended.”

“It was a nice stop to get out and stretch for a bit. They have an old train you can go in and look but if you don't like small spaces don't go in lol. Everything is a little run down but most people seemed to enjoy it.”

“Lovely place to go for a walk amongst nature on the many paths available. There's places to fish, camp, hike, explore. There's a lot of wildlife that live here along with various native species of plants from trees, perennials and water vegetation. Lots of room to relax, explore or do some outdoor recreation. Worth checking out with the whole family”

“Very well maintained with over a football sized field for dogs to play. Owners tend to pay attention to their dogs and seem to clean up after them. There is also a private field for dogs who don’t play well with others, as well as a field for smaller ones. Outhouses for the owners and lots of room for parking.”
