Duck Pond Bed & Breakfast Cottage

Marjoline and Aad are amazing friendly people there bed and breakfast is such a wonderful place to stay at. We found them three years ago and we book them every year for the event we attend in Leamington and we will continue to every time we visit leamington!

The cleanest bed and breakfast I've ever stayed at. Very relaxing, a beautiful breakfast with homemade jams, omelettes, and bread. The ducks and chickens in the yard were the cherries on top!!

My wife and I have gone someplace for the weekend of our anniversary for the past few years. We usually go to a larger city with more things to do, but decided to go someplace relaxing and out in the country this year. My wife heard about Point Pelee from a friend and I found the Duck Pond Bed and Breakfast on an internet search. The hosts Aad and Marjolein were so wonderful and made us feel right at home. Aad is a professional award winning baker and Marjolein is an incredible cook. They are from Holland and their European hospitality and wonderful meals have that special European touch you can't find anywhere else.

The weather wasn't the best for us (raining like crazy one day and woke up to a lot of snow the next), but their hospitality, wonderfully relaxing cabin, incredible food, etc. made it a great weekend. The Duck Pond B&B isn't very far from Point Pelee, downtown Leamington and other places with restaurants and things to do. If you want to get away from city life, kick your feet up, relax and enjoy farm life with chickens and ducks right out in the field a few steps away from your room this place is for you. The fresh eggs right out of the coop were incredible for breakfast.

The hosts live in their house right across the driveway from the cabin and you have the entire cabin all to yourself. They also make breakfast the evening before and have it on the table and in the fridge for you to eat whenever you wake up. Other B&Bs have a set time, but I like the more relaxed style here much better. I could go on and on about how much we loved it there, but I'll let you hurry up and try to book the cabin. I say THE cabin because there is only one. Don't delay and find out it's already booked. Aad said some summers are booked a year in advance.

The Duck Pond Cottage is a very clean and relaxing place to stay. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. The homemade breakfast are a delight and delicious way to start your morning off. I would definitely recommend staying.

Great stay! Place is huge and can easily accommodate a family of four or two couples. Kitchen area has a hot plate and there is a BBQ outside. Hosts were lovely and breakfast was tasty.
