Pros
Wonderful trails
Worth the walk.
Cons
Close to the main highway, lots of traffic noise at certain parts of the trail.
Love a quiet walk through the woods ❤️
It really is a great place to hike around and enjoy the quiet solitude of the woods and the bird and deer activity there is amazing. Grandchildren love it and so do we.
It was a bit swampy when I went, but the trails were pretty well maintained. It was a good place to get away from it all, while not having to leave the city. Just bring mosquito repellent.
The main trail is a short one but to experience the deeper parts of the woods, you gotta take the longer trail.
Deers are frequent roamers in this part of the woods. They are friendly mostly and people feed them occasionally too (which is not recommended I'm sure).
200 years or so older trees makes a walk among them quite meaningful and peaceful.
