(May 18, 2019, 4:31 am)I loved Echo Lake camp as a kid, back in the eighties, and now I'm taking my own children.
For the most I think it's a good place, but it's notorious for it's cliques, so if your kids go for the first time, they should try to take along a friend.
Lots of teens build a deep and lasting commitment to God at this camp. The speakers they bring are excellent. There are a lot of sports done too, and out can be a bit of a fashion show.
(January 26, 2018, 2:32 pm)My years at Echo Lake Camp were the single most life-changing experiences in my life. Years later, I still regularly look back at my experiences and am so thankful. Many of my most meaningful and enduring relationships started at Echo Lake. We still support Echo Lake and always will, because I can't think of anything more worthwhile that you could do for your kids. BTW, camp starts at age 14.
