“I was so impressed with a workshop that Dr. Terri-Lynn Brennan delivered at the Ontario Museum Conference in Kingston in 2017, that I did not hesitate to invite her to conduct a professional development workshop on Decolonization and Becoming an Effective Ally at the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery. It was important for all staff at our art museum to participate in such a workshop as we move forward. Her guidance and delivery on this most significant topic was sensitive, clear, and informative. As arts organizations move forward in becoming an effective ally during this period of Truth and Reconciliation, Dr. Brennan’s expertise is invaluable and we are grateful for the foundation she gave the staff to move forward more confidently.”
I attended two lectures of Dr. Terri-Lynn Brennan when she came to the City of Burlington. They were absolutely amazing and so informative. Actually, I had attended one of her presentations some years prior and recognized her name and made it a point to attend again.
It would be a great idea to have more of this important teaching on a regular basis. There is so much culture that so many of us never tap into. It should be taught at school.
Dr. Brennan has such a wonderful personality and is so open to any kind of questions that may come up and ready to engage. She is excellent...
It was a privilege and a pleasure to work with Terri-Lynn Brennan (Inclusive Voices), on the evaluation of a 15-month project to increase Indigenous engagement for the Ottawa Museum Network's 11 member-museums. While we are still at an early stage, Dr. Brennan’s evaluation report and recommendations have been invaluable in supporting and encouraging us on to the next steps. She was able to combine extensive knowledge and expertise, with a thoughtful understanding of the challenges of making institutional change, and the right amount of inspiration, practical tools and advice.
Working with Inclusive Voices was a great experience. By the end of the project, we had done some great work together and the final report was very informative for both our board and our membership. We have already started to implement the suggestions and are getting a great response from the community.
