(February 21, 2019, 2:34 pm)Visited in the winter. Took a bus out from downtown, went down to the Waterfront and spent three hours walking all the way back to Dan Tan partly on the beaches partly on the pads and partly out on the frozen lake. Absolutely beautiful. Ran into about 50 or 60 other people doing the same thing in different directions. Not at Ontario Park but a little ways towards tan quite a few people were skating here and there. We didn't venture too far from Shore but it was about minus 15 and there were people out in the middle of the lake walking their dogs and stuff. I probably wouldn't risk it but it was quite cool. You're at the back of a lot of cool buildings we only normally see from the front it was a different view of the city for sure.

(February 3, 2019, 5:25 pm)Beautiful park with lots of paths to walk along the lakeshore. Has a big playground and splash pad for the kids to play. Big sandbox too. Usually has events in the summer on the weekends.
(August 19, 2018, 6:50 pm)Very nice park for families. Our kids love the playground and splash pad. There are also plenty of picnic tables/areas to eat and get out of the sun. This would have been a five star review had it not been for the bathroom facility. It was a little dirty, but I guess you can't ask too much from a public park bathroom.
