It was a pleasure to do the Fall mushroom foraging tour with Ben this weekend. Each season the forest offers different food and the key to learn it, is to do a guided tour in the forest with Forest for Dinner. Don't miss it next season; the guided tour fill quickly!

I really enjoyed the foraging tour offer by Forest for Dinner last Sunday. Ben and Celia were very knowledgeable and generous with sharing their experience and educating the participants about what can be found in the our local forest . I would recommend this tour to anyone who would like the learn more about what is edible in the forest and I am looking for to do other tours at other time of the year with them in the future . They also produce delicious products that we were able to taste at the end of the tour. Well Done
Great gourmet foraging tour and a great wealth of knowledge from the owner, the tour was very informative from the begging until the end! We also tasted some of their amazing products!
I had the best day and learned so much. Ben shared a vast amount of valuable information and details that I want to do another one! I was impressed at how much prep he obviously did for the tour. And what a great touch to have made their own special herbal tea (from foraged items) and coffee with chaga for all of us when we arrived. Plus a great tasting experience with many of their products at the end. Highly recommended and, yes, I definitely will attend another one.
Ben’s cheerful personality, stories and knowledge of the forest and foraging edible plants is excellent. He is the perfect guide and host. The tour was very well organized, and everything was thought of! The farm location provided a beautiful setting and was an easy walk. Tasty treats made from foraged foods were enjoyed after the tour. I will be recommending this tour to my guests and will be attending future events. Thank you, Dini
I learnt a lot about the plants, fruits, mushrooms and local forest during the foraging tour offer by Forest For Dinner last Sunday. Celia & Ben both passionate about wild picking, guided us through the forest and have a lot of knowledge and they shared it with a lot of enthusiasm. Their knowledge of the local flora is impressive: when I look at a blue spruce, I only see an ordinary Christmas tree. But Celia and Ben see a multitude of food resources, from tree bark to pinecones. At the end of the walk, our hosts served us, among other things, delicious snacks made from morels and wild berries. If you're looking for original gift ideas, you can order some online. I highly recommend this tour and I would like to do another one with my family in the Spring Time. Bonus: They speak French!
