Fabulous experience! Exceptional service, professional and warm. Excellent food, wines and special cocktails. Star Camp tents were comfortable, perfect for star gazing and relaxing with the hot tub. Activities were varied, fun and perfect for teens. Allyson and her team are the highlight of Siwash Lake. We had just the greatest time ever! Exceptional!!
"Unforgettable" is the best word to describe our Siwash Lake vacation. We had a fantastic trip this spring with memories that will last a lifetime. Allyson, Marshall, and the team were outstanding. They always managed to exceed our expectations. The activities from horseback riding, fly fishing, archery, hiking and stargazing are led by talented and friendly guides. To top it all off, it was one of the best culinary experiences we've had. We can't say enough about this truly unique destination. If you're looking for a relaxing retreat where you can reconnect and unwind this is the place!
Unforgettable
Thankyou Allyson, Marshall and incredible staff at Siwash Lake Wilderness resort for an experience of a lifetime that we will never forget. My daughter and I are approaching two milestone birthdays this fall and decided to celebrate with a mother daughter trip that involved our lifelong passion for horses. From the warm welcome upon arrival, our incredible stay in your beautiful Bear tent at star camp, exceptional staff, incredible food, spectacular scenery, lovely horses, multiple activities, a highlight being the fly fishing outings with our excellent coach, thanks Jack. The overall attention to detail was unsurpassed. The story of saving the Ranch against all odds during the Elephant Hill wildfire of 2017 are what movies are made of. As we departed on our final day for our journey home we were sent off with a lovely packed lunch, smiling faces and warm waves, not to say goodbye but to say until next time ….
Siwash was the perfect blend of a relaxing retreat and an exciting adventure. They had all kinds of fun activities so we got to spend some days out exploring the trails and others relaxing at the ranch.
The food is made with locally-sourced ingredients and vegetables fresh from the garden, so every meal was absolutely delicious and very fresh. They were also very accommodating for all kinds of dietary requirements. What’s even better is that the five-star food was paired with a five-star dining venue. We loved starting our day with breakfast on the deck in the sunshine and ending it with a candlelight dinner under the stars.
The horses are all very well taken care of and are lovely to ride. The guides help you learn to groom and tack up your horse before heading out for a ride through the trails. They did a great job of making sure beginner riders were comfortable and safe, while still making sure it was a fun experience for more experienced riders.
The entire experience was outstanding. The rooms were all so beautiful and the beds were so comfortable. The whole team was amazing. All the little details were taken care of to make sure our experience was unforgettable.
Had a wonderful time at Siwash Lake. Although the location is remote, the luxury accommodation, gourmet meals and wide range of fun activities are fantastic. Allyson, Marshall and the entire team do a great job to make you feel special and well-taken care of. It was nice to do different things including horseback riding, ax throwing and shooting, and also just to relax and read a book on the deck. When it was time to go home, I felt like I'd had an amazing holiday filled with unforgettable memories.
Huge fenced in dog park, friendly people. A great place for your fur baby to have some fun and burn off some energy!
Great dog park. Could be bigger but has an open area and also a wooded area for sniffin and explorin. Lake Ontario is steps away for a cool down. Also close to ball diamond and climber for the kids. People are generally very friendly.
A nice area for dogs to get some much needed running and playing. Some wooded paths for dogs that are a little shy too.
An absolute gorgeous place to take your furbabie(s) (dog(s)to, has plentiful amount of shade in the summer time for both owners and their dog. I started a trend; Tying *unused* poop bags to the chain link for owners who may have forgotten a bag. Theres so many people who've followed my trend its amazing to see how generous people are there :) Both a great time for the dogs and some time to talk with other dog owners
It was a lot of fun! Great and all around friendly people and dogs. My dogs enjoyed this one a lot better then the other dog parks
we had taken them to. Loved the little walking path as well!
