(November 21, 2017, 6:39 pm)My wife Betty and I came to Trillium Retirement in May 2016. Our reason for selecting Trillium was it had Long Term Care as well as Retirement in one place, as Betty has dementia and lives in the Long Term Care and I am able to live in Retirement and visit her daily or whenever I would like. Trillium Retirement is small and cozy and has about 40 rooms. The meals are very good.
The activities at Trillium Retirement are good but the highlight is the program director. This lady does so many things for the residents, one thing I really enjoy are the country drives where we go into the country and drive around for about an hour where I can be reminded of old memories. We also go out for lunch at nice restaurants and we go on winter picnics where she brings the lunch and we sit by Lake Ontario in a warm bus and enjoy the view. I really enjoy living at Trillium Retirement and being able to maintain my close relationship with my wife.
