Friendly service and a knowledgeable pharmacist!

I have had nothing but great service here. Selection is limited, but it is a very small store, so that is to be expected. They didn't have the product I was looking for, but were more than eager to order it for me.

After changing pharmacies 6 or 7 7times, whether hospital associated locations or big box stores, I have found out that it's the people who make ALL the difference, not whether I can buy a frozen pizza at the same time I get meds! Without good service, having long hours means very little. Up until now, I have never walked into a pharmacy and just picked up my order without some type of complications. I got fed up. We have a right to expect order, organization, and accountability from our pharmacies. For the misguided many, it is all about their money rolling in.

I am SO GLAD that I found Pharmasave in Inverary! Check out their facebook! This is a fledgling business being run by Leonard, an enthusiastic young fellow who, by my view, is building a business and life for his young family. Leonard appears to understand his place of importance in his clients healthcare planning, and his goal seems to be his doing all he can to hopefully make our health challenges a little less burdensome for us. A lovely change from those who forget clients exist once they walk away from the counter.

Draw your own conclusions. I never spoke of my experience at home, so I smiled when my husband returned from getting my meds and told me he met Leonard and that they shook hands. He was pleased.

My initial drop in where I spoke with Leonard, the owner/pharmasist, I explained my past troubles, wanting him to tell me if it was me who had the unrealistic expectations of a pharmacy, and whether my moving to Inverary would be an improvement. His first response was to welcome me, shake my hand and introduce himself. Bonus points for that. We discussed my meds and he gave me realistic timelines to get my special order meds. 1 day. ONE DAY !!! Wooo HOoo! No more big box 10 day wait into my 30 day script, just to be given 5 days worth, because they never ordered it. More bonus points for Inverary PHARMASAVE!

Sure, I hear people who like the crazy open and available hours of these big stores, but seriously, that is more about grabbing milk or condoms, versus the meds. Right now Inverary Pharmasave is closed on weekends but open 9-6pm week days. No huge deal. They are there so your doctor can Fax prescriptions right over and Leonard will get it done. It is not impossible to adjust ourselves to a business with realistic hours, SO for those who put less hours as a complaint should think of the more important considerations. Wouldn't you rather have prompt and friendly service with a person paying attention to you? EASY ANSWER, Yes! When you walk in with a concern, wouldn't you rather that your presence be at least acknowledged? OF COURSE. I can add up untold hours of standing at big box counters waiting to ask an important question or to get behind the counter products without anyone speaking to me or looking up as I cough, clear my throat, or say "Excuse Me" .

When you open the door at Inverary Pharmasave, you have their attention and interest. What a pleasure.

I don't write a great deal of reviews, but I feel compelled to write here and tell others that we as clients and customers are right to expect respect and consideration of those working for us at our pharmacy. People working at our pharmacy are responsible for our medications and for our well being. We are right to and need to hold them to proper standards versus letting them away with continued problems that only 6repeat.

I think that you would be impressed and happy that you gave pharmasave in Inverary a try. Go in and meet Leonard and his team. See how it feels to be welcomed and treated as a valued human being. I am going to make sure they know how pleased I am. We don't thank good businesses enough.

Leonard is amazing and so very helpful. We are really fortunate to have such a tremendous addition to our community. You get treated like a person instead of a prescription. My family moved our prescriptions here too... Such a breath of fresh air.

Fantastic to deal with! Always goes out of his way to help whenever possible. So nice to go to a pharmacy where I am a real person unlike at the bigger places in town. All of our families prescriptions have been switched to Pharmasave Inverary
