We enjoyed our stay very much. I was so glad that they allow pets. I would certainly stay here again. Rooms were clean as was the kitchen. And it was also close to Sudbury so we were able to do curb pick-ups at the larger stores.
A great, quiet place to stay. Free parking, free WiFi and a comfy bed. Rooms and common areas are clean and well furnished.
The Whitefish Corporate Residence is a gem of place, with clean, airy rooms, a tranquil setting and a litany of in-house services that are ideal for a long term stay. The full kitchen access, laundry availability and common areas made it feel like home. Thank you to John and team for making my stay so awesome!
My husband found out about this place through a friend who does a long-term corporate stay as a subcontractor with their mining company. He just loved that it came fully equipped for their crews with their own private rooms and bathrooms but with access to a fully equipped kitchen (fridges, appliances, cooking utensils etc.) and a common area for their crew to enjoy making some wonderful group meals together. So they had the best of both worlds - with the common area, but the privacy of their own rooms. And having the private bathrooms was a real perk for the crew that might otherwise have to live in a camp or other shared accommodation. It sounded really great for them.

So based on his recommendation, when we had to return to Canada from the US during the COVID lockdown and couldn't get to our home for 14 days, we figured this would be the best place to self-isolate. We were super appreciative of everything it had to offer at a very reasonable cost. Also having the unlimited wifii to stay in touch with family and friends. While it is fairly basic accommodation compared to a high end (and costly) hotel, it has all the necessities and basic comforts and is in a quiet location just off the main road.

We also just can't say enough great things about the manager, John Wickie !! He was super pleasant, very helpful and accommodating, always checking in on us, asking if we needed groceries and ensuring we always had fresh linens. He even very generously provided us with beverages for a special treat meal night we had planned. We were very appreciative of the extra care and attention we received while maintaining our isolation and distancing requirements.

You just don't get that kind of personal attention and connection at the standard hotels/motels with the manager going out of their way for you. After we checked out, we continued to stay in touch. We really felt well taken care of during our time at WCR and thank John for making our stay less isolating and less stressful.
Brand New rooms, Very quite, Long term stay Hotel, Free WI fi, Free parking, Very friendly and cooperative staff. Great weekend get away.
