You barely see the entrance from highway 6 if there’s no car’s parking on the site. Sign is very small but once you’re in, the trail & signs are very clear & easy to follow if you’re the beginner of a hiker. The waterfalls is kinda hidden but you still can hear. Few path you can take photos (just be careful) but if walk a little bit further into the trail you’ll see more beautiful views not just the falls.
If you wanna short cut like I did, I go the opposite of the trail & found the falls in my pictures. Still, it worth a walk & risk it in my opinion. Have fun!
Nice little hike and the falls are a good bonus.
Stopped enroute going north. Wouldn't come here just for this though!
We have come a couple times and it’s such a great place for a nature walk. Trails are easy to follow. Waterfall is gorgeous. Getting down to the waterfall is more of a scramble, but remainder of trails are very easy.
Park here to get to Jones Falls and it's free. :) nice hike and relatively easy if you stay on the trail. As mentioned in the other post getting to the bottom of the falls is done with caution and appropriate hiking footwear.
Worth seeing if you are in the area but would not go out of my way. The entrance is from the visitor's centre. It is a 5 to 10 min walk to the bridge but if you want to see the Falls from below, you better wear the proper shoes as it is steep and rocky. Make sure you also bring along mosquito spray.
