Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain

This place is about 1.45 hours away from Toronto and offers an amazing experience at a decent price. The facilities are clean and well maintained. There is always staff roaming the facilities to make sure everything is in order. Amazing place for self care and relaxation.

Incredible spa for adults with a strict rule to stay quiet at all times. This creates a very relaxing atmosphere where all you hear is sounds of nature around you.

There is also a no phones or cameras rule so that everyone can have privacy while out in the pools. You can also relax in one of several seated areas overlooking trees, by a fire, in a hammock, or a quiet room near the saunas.

There are several pools with varying temperatures. Pop into one of the hot pools then plunge into one of the cold ones for an invigorating burst of energy.

Although have have everything you need for a fee, it’s recommend that you take your swimwear, robe, water bottle, some toiletries, and a snack.

They have a cute cafe in the main building, but only serve small things (and some things don’t taste as good as you feel they should for a spa.

The price is very reasonable for everything you get, and there is virtually no time limit, so you can stay as long as you like.

What a great day! Very relaxing, quiet, calming... sometimes you need a day to just take care of yourself and reset. This is a good place for that. Take deep breaths.

Remember, you need to take care of yourself before you can take care of others

The setting is beautiful, the massus was very skilled. Unfortunately, I felt admonished by the staff on a number of occasions. They need to offer an area that is not so quiet but still allows you to enjoy the experience. I was also mislead as to what I had booked as a massage pkg. When I called to make my reservation I was very specific booking the pkg. by name which was confirmed to me. At the end of the day when I was expecting to receive a sample pack of products included in the pkg. I was told I did not pay for that pkg and further more it could not be booked over the phone and needed to confirmed upon arrival. This should have been explained at time of booking according to the desk staff cashing me out. I was extremely disappointed by this interaction.

My first time there and I highly recommend anyone to go. Massage was wonderful and relaxing. Food from their bistro was affordable and generous portions. The staff were helpful and friendly. The facility was clean and overall ambience was truly amazing.
