This is an amazing park, with the most amazing staff. From the moment you arrive til the moment you leave you are made feel like your part of a family. Patrick has the utmost respect and patience for all campers. He understands camping situations and handles them with the utmost professionalism. The management staff are so friendly and welcoming. The negative reviews I have read on here are those from people who clearly want to stay up late around a campfire with a large group of friends. How about thinking of others instead of yourself? Do you realize how noise travels at night in a campground? Like people who go to bed at a decent hour, maybe they have to get up and work in the morning, or have young children to tend to. The price of the park is not expensive considering you get free firewood, free showers, all amenities are free. If you cannot afford to stay at the Hilton, then find yourself a Budget Inn. Great Job Shamadon Resort!!!!
this is a really nice park. it's family friendly with a lot of activities and amenities that will ensure you have a good time. But watch out because beneath the welcoming facade there's the aggressive manner in which they handle situations that could easily be resolved with a little bit of tact. Instead the property management staff fabricates stories to justify mistreating guests and denying them things such as firewood, service included in your 300 dollar admission, resorting to bullying and intimidation tactics over the smallest, easily resolved situations. Beware how you spend your money here if you are intending to book a larger group as they will not tell you that you aren't welcome until after you have paid.
My 4 grandchildren ages 11,9,9,7 and I rented a cabin for 2 nights. The cabin was clean and spacious. The kids love the playground and pool. They are already talking about going again next year. The only thing was the mattresses were very hard. Would recommend taking foam pads.
Recently stayed at this resort. It is by far the cleanest, well run park we have stayed at. I would love to recommend it to my friends and family. The only concern I have is the price. I feel it is out of most people’s budget.
Great value for the higher end price. Love all the included perks like wood delivered as needed, garbage pick up and goody bag on delivery. Everything is super clean. Pool was too busy to even fit in, but the amazing service makes up for it! Would definitely go again.
