Blue Water Lakes Campground

Only dumped the tanks. $10 is fair

An old fashioned camp ground - no website, email, online bookings. Stayed for four nights and had a wonderful time. There are parts of the grounds that are quite rough - not pristine like a Provincial Park. If you can look past this, the campsites themselves are spacious, level, and quite private. We didn't swim in the lakes on-site - although they say they are spring fed, they had quite a bit of algae and grass, such that it just wasn't appealing to us (I don't think we saw anyone swimming the whole time we were there). We only saw 2/3 lakes on the premises and they were more "pond like." That said, there are many wonderful beaches and other worthwhile spots to visit within a reasonable day-trip drive. The privacy of the campsites is truly the appeal and we would likely come back for this. If you can look past some of the rough-around-the-edges parts, this is a wonderful spot.

Amazing place the owners are very nice

The spring fed lakes are shades of blue and green very tropical looking waters. Perfect place for family and friends & furbabies to camp
