“My friends and I had a great weekend up at Northern Ice Fishing. Owen the host was super accommodating to us and helped make sure we had everything we needed in terms of supplies and getting set up on the ice! The cabin was basic in terms of the amenities with simple bunk beds, a propane burner and essential kitchen items but it was enough for the weekend. However, one night it got quite cold in the cabin (-35 C outside) so it would be recommended to bring sufficient clothing and other items to stay warm during especially cold days. We didn’t manage to catch any fish unfortunately but overall had a great time thanks to Owen’s hospitality!”
