The fishing was amazing. There was also really good sledding and skating. I would definitely recommend.

My 2 sons, me and my husband stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin over Christmas. We had such a lovely time, and hope to make it our new family Christmas tradition. The cabin was immaculate with everything we could need and the grounds are beautiful. My sons enjoyed tobogganing and lighting evening campfires
to roast marshmallows and we also enjoyed some local hikes while we were there. Town is close by so picking up some extra groceries was very easy.
The owners have done a wonderful job adapting to the restrictions COVID has brought, but it doesn’t feel like you are missing out on anything much because it is such a tranquil, beautiful place to be with plenty of things to do even with restrictions present.
If you are looking for a quiet winter getaway please try Ogopogo resort. My heart is full from the memories I have made with my family while there and I can’t wait to go back. Many thanks to Todd and Catherine for creating such a lovely place.

If you are anxious to get out of the house for a few days but nervous about Covid-19, then I strongly recommend Ogopogo. They are remarkably clean and have established a precautionary program to manage during the pandemic. The cabins were very clean and supplied with additional disinfectant. Even the remote control for the television in our cabin was wrapped in saran wrap. The owners are professional and courteous.
