Molly's Bistro Bakery

We love Molly's! Menu has so much selection - breakfast dishes, sandwiches, and they do great frozen home made lasagne and pies.

Had breakfast with the family over the Civic holiday long weekend. Our experience was very positive. We all were happy with the food as well as the service.

It warmed my heart, it was like being back in ma mere’s kitchen in Belleterre PQ. Everything was homemade and the jam was out of this world!

Our family of four ordered individual dishes and enjoyed every bite: boring breakfast, pulled pork sandwich, the Oh! Canada burger, and pulled pork poutine.

A few highlights:

We chose to take-out our order, brining it back to our cottage. Everything was wrapped and boxed thoughtfully, to ensure nothing got soggy for our drive home.

The fresh bread surrounding our sandwich and burger highlighted the fillings, and we would have liked to take a bag of bread home with us!

The cranberry, walnut, maple syrup pesto was delicious and a perfect pairing with the peameal, havarti burger. Does Molly sell this by the jar? I’d order at least one...maybe two!

Finally, according to my son, the boring breakfast was definitely not boring! He enjoyed every bite, loved the homemade jam, and couldn’t stop talking about the “little baked loaf” that was added to his takeout plate.

If you're in Minden cottage country this little bistro is worth a visit. Had the eggs Florentine which was delightful - the hollandaise was delicious! Nice outdoor seating; perfect brunch spot. Would come back.
