With the forest nearby, you’ll certainly enjoy nature’s sounds when you hear and see cardinals, goldfinches, blue jays, and you may even see some ducks in the ravine that runs through!”

Sherwood Forest Park

Address: 5270 Fairview St, Burlington, ON L7L 6B7, Canada

“Your regular park, several soccer fields, the parking is very minimal, there are a couple turf fields and the rest are grass. For the most part they are kept clean and the grass is not bad. It's nice to walk around this area in the afternoon or bike down the path nearby. At night it's dark and no lights are on unless there is a scheduled game which sucks because it's only nice in the mornings.”

Burloak Waterfront Park

“Its a pretty good park! Good place to watch the sunrise as well. They have many benches in many different spots, including a gazebo and a path leading further down into a lake with a circled off end where you can sit and relax. There's a trail of you'd like to go for a walk and a playground for if you want to take the kids. Plaza just down the street. There is a little parking lot there and although small, I've never had troubles. People are always friendly to me when I go... apparently even the animals are (see picture) ????????!”

“Amazing Park. I have been going there 4 years before it was even a quote on quote Park. To see the developments are wonderful I can't wait to see what it is going to look like when it is all done. Excellent place for a stroll or a picnic or just to bring the kids out to have fun. The only downfall is there are no light posts in this park. Construction is underway to get the place aesthetically beautiful however there is no roughed out spots for like ppsts”
